threshold exceptionally well..."

Blow Up

Elie is dedicated to the son of the cellist / composer / conductor Jean-Paul Dessy (Brussels). This entirely electronic composition was created by Paci Dalò in Rome in his Colle Oppio studio.
Code, Files and Remix are part of a project created together with the group of architects Lab [au] within the Netdays 2002 festival (Brussels). On that occasion a work was created that had multiple levels of presentation: from the website to the sound / light installation in the public space. The three sections of the song are based on a scan through the compositions of all the artists participating in the festival. This investigation produced a large database of audio files that allowed the creation of the work. A sort of sonic portrait of the entire festival.
Tallinn was recorded live in Estonia during a concert presented at the invitation of Maks Surin, one of the cult figures of the Estonian art and technology scene.
All compositions have a lot to do with perception and space (visual, acoustic, temporal). Invisible architectures are created through a minimal music made of layers and pulsations. A cinematographic approach to sound where the exploration of urban space is of particular importance and with it the adventure in the world of sound used in all its breadth.
